MGA Travel Statement

The Coronavirus situation is constantly evolving. We recommend that you monitor the State Department for travel restrictions at travel.state.gov and check the CDC’s latest reports. These will help guide you to make the best decision based on your comfort level and travel plans. If you do travel in and around impacted countries, be prepared to follow the CDC recommendations for health screenings and quarantines.

Whether traveling domestically or internationally, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance for an additional layer of protection.

Making the decision whether to travel or not is a deeply personal choice. As travel advisors, we are here to assist our clients; their health, safety and well-being is our top priority.

We provide available information, so our clients can make informed decisions about their travel plans.

Many cruise lines and travel suppliers are offering relaxed penalties and/or later final payment dates. In some cases, certain cruise lines will offer a future cruise credit for the full amount and you can cancel up to 48 hours prior to departure. Please contact us for details.

If you know you want to cancel your trip, please complete this form: https://takethetrip.com/cruisecancellation.html

WHO and other researchers at John Hopkins University have compiled charts and maps with the latest information on coronavirus COVID-10 global cases, which is updated automatically:

*Please note that in extremely unusual cases we charge a planning fee for completely custom designed itineraries that are not otherwise part of a cruise or tour. In such rare cases, we would advise you that you would incur a fee if you still wish to proceed.

When booking separate airfare that is not provided by a tour operator or cruise line, we charge a ticketing fee for international air of $100 per person and domestic air fee of $30 per person. The fee will be waived if booked as part of a supplier package. Please note that travel suppliers may have ticketing, deviation, custom air, or stopover fees.

Before booking any international air we require copies of your passports. Cancelling a scheduled appointment is fine but no shows will incur a $50 fee.

MGA Travel does not book any all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean or Mexico.
